There's your answer then, although obviously I could never condone smashing a brick/hammer on your own window to cause a crack to therefore enable a claim

my friends is real bad on his too.. at least 60% of the de-lam has occured.

get a nail/centre punch and put a nice chip in it, then with the palm of your hand slap the chip with a bit of force.. nice crack and a valid excuse to replace
