2.2kv engine. tsr head, shrick cam - Page 2

Ported heads on the 5 cylinder make a massive difference and with cam change to 272 (best one for road use) will be kicking out a healthy 170bhp and 165Lb/ft. Mine used to produce 165bhp and 165lb/ft on its 2337cc block but I kept standard cam. Price seems cheap bearing in mind the head is worth double that on its own.. My stage 3 'KV' head work cost £650 14 years ago.

Bargain for someone..

cheers for the comments folks. Its a cracking engine, the only reason im selling is to help cover the cost of impending engine swap

I have two heads here (one on the cq rally car) and they were just under £1000 each..

yep, ive got the receipt from tsr here.
The head was bought new in 2002 from TSR for a sum of £998.75(supply only) with a special order compression ratio of 11.1
The shrick cam is a 272 and was again bought new from TSR for £380.13 (supply only)

So yeah, a lot of money been spent on this engine

Would love it,but a bit of a hike from Liverpool.Also just paid half on my perants new Sony 40" LCD Bravia tv.Old one blew up.(+£100 for coax and airiel)

about 180quid iirc. I sent a 6spd aby box and a load of other bits over a couple mths ago. Would imagine its similar sort of weight
