You're ahead of me. The Swedish Rally Rep. Tough decision. Mmmmmmm.
If I already owned a great Audi, I don't believe I could part with the B9.
Of course the Alpina cars are much rarer in the States.

no, the first full on Audi machine we bought was the RS2. Gotta start somewhere!
The Sanyo quattro I bought off Nigel Conniford off here about 8 months ago or so which I bought 2 days after selling the B9.

The BMW was kind of one of those "must own one day" cars and got it in a swap a few years ago. Spent about 6 months re-commissioning it as it had been stored for 5 years, then sold it on to an Oil dealer from Azerbaijan!! 1 of 18 RHD B9 Alpina's of which only 4 are still on the road in the UK. I'd had my fun with it and wanted a C2 2.7 E30 and a real mint one had come up for sale. Was going to go and see it on the Saturday but Nige put his quattro up for sale on the Thursday evening and I ddn't get much sleep that night thinking about what to do!! Heart ruled head!!!! Good choice though I reckon!!!

I lost some sleep last year when this B6 was for sale. Close to 30 thousand USD.
Hands down one of the pinnacles of small high performance sedans.

Coxy - If it's any consolation I've said before that I would have had Nigels Sanyo car over many other ur's out there which may have been twice the price. I'd happilly give-up my E24 for that.

Rust on an E24 is not something which might come if you don't look after it. It's going to happen whatever you do - even if you take it into your home at night, let it sleep in front of the fire, and fondle its nether regions daily with a soft fluffy cloth. These things were designed in the same era as the MkIII Cortina and the similarities don't end there.

After a huge (£14k) restoration in 2002, my E24 is still lucky to even come close to the condition of my original, untouched 20v quattro RR. It's never been as good as the shell of my WR which was out of its bodywork warranty by the time my 635 was hatched.

Trade an Audi Coupe for a 635.

BTW, the white one in the pictures above is all wrong. Step away from the vehicle. Walk away now.
is the rust issue, better or worse than that of a ford capri?

Also, don't worry! I wasn't planing on trading in the audi for it.. was gonna keep both. I throw away nothing! lol

But what exactly is so wrong with the white one? Looks pretty damn clean and cool to me..
