not been yet, it'll be sometime later in the year.
Even small trips need planning in this household nowadays as we need dog and horse sitters.

Ahh, I thought you were going in snow times, it's apparently quite different in summer, hot as well!

A lot more than the old town here (which is a tourist-trap really). I mean, it is nice, but beware of all the c*ap threre. There is the Tv-tower, a big Zoo (takes half a day to see all creatues there), all kinds of concerts in bigger and smaller pubs/places, some great places to go walking nearby, forest tracks, beaches etc.

And if you like old cars, then not awfully far from Tallinn you can go here: http://varjupaik.jjts.ee/?action=tex...ID=51&lang=est
It is a "shelter" for old and unique vehicles.

I'm not personally connected to any of these places, so this is no commercial here...

I'm glad to help if asked!

fill me with info!
It looks like a beautiful city. We've found the hotel which ticks all our boxes, it's the Hotel Schlossle.

We're probably looking at end of September near my birthday and our wedding anniversary. What is there worth seeing?

I edited my previous post for the basics, but september-early october is a good time to come. August is much warmer usually though. The hotel is in the old town, so it should be more than ok.

One thing i can add is, that Tallinn is really small compared to most other capitals in Europe, everything is nearby.

Btw, just wondering - can some C2 parts be sneaked here with you?

I'll have to take more time to write, as i said - i just wrote the basic places, but there is plenty to do here.

I don't mind small, makes it easier to see places! You never think you've seen everything when you go to cities such as Prague and Budapest.

Public transport is only free to those, who live in Tallinn (you have to use a green card/validator every time you enter a bus, tram or trolleybus just to prove that). So if you live anywhere outside of Tallinn, you will have to pay...but as i said, you can walk to many places, so it should not be a big problem.
