Nice house, are you royalty by any chance

Love the clocks, my uncle was an avid clock collector. He had a whole garage full of them which he would religously wind and set. My favorite was a Grandmother clock. As a kid I was fascinated that you could actually get a Grandmother cloak as well as a Grandfather clock

Check out the mullet it is so bad, it's gets hidden in the arty farty shots and then you finally get the full glory. I wanted to forget the 80's for so long but now it is in vogue, so i will remember it will fond memories and a rye smile.

Definitely not royalty (the bank balance gives it away)! Just an enthusiast of early American architecture. We're lucky to have such an interesting place to live. The house is like the cars (and the clocks, for that matter). All have been great examples for restoration, and have been the product of much time and labor (OK, some $ too).

We have quite a few clocks in the house. I keep 17 of them wound. The ticking is very comforting. The house feels very much alive. We have a niece who asks us to stop them when she comes for an overnight. The silence is deafening!

Romeo and Juliet is one of my all time fave tracks.

Only bettered by "Sultans of Swing" live, not the version off Alchemy, but the one with the saxophone playing against Mark Knopfler.

It is amazing how passionate people are about their music. We recently gave away about 150 of our cassette tapes (down to about 200). It was so hard to part with them, even though we hadn't listened to most of them in years.
