did consider the volvo when I was first looking for an estate last year.
Just don't seem to have the same appeal as the Passats/A4's/A6's. Make me feel older that I already am!
That said, you do a lot of car for your buck.

My uncle swears by volvo it was great in the snow no worrries at all and got really miles per gallon too just a little over the top on some of the parts but you cant will all the time. Drove it a good few times really nice drive and not "old man" at all good quality car for what i think is really cheap money worth looking at

it may be to old but i owned a volvo 850r and boy did it go some and it loved corners
would i be shot itf i mention a subaru legacy

Subaru's make good engine donors!

850R's are superb machines!
But it's a bit like looking for an S2 as most of them have been to the moon and back or in the hands of enthusiasts now.

i know sold my 1996 850r red 1 with only 66000 mls fsh and wish i had it now
