Default Typ 85 Audi 80 front windscreen

as it seems mine has a huge crack in it and National Windscreens have drawn a blank and Audi parts are as about as much use as tits on a fish.

Taken 4 months to get a down pipe for the CQ20V. Audi's answer then was 'Sorry mate, try ebay'.
Just what a customer wants to hear.
Have mailed Audi UK with yet another large rant.

Doubt anything will come of it though. As an interim, I'm going to have to use the screen out of the 1979 Audi 80. It's not going anywhere (well it won't now anyway), but it means I can get the sport back on the road as I'm having to use the rally rep as a daily at the moment!

Coupe or Saloon? I'm assuming saloon..

When I smashed mine last year there was a multitude of people could supply, I got a quote from a guy in Portsmouth who would come to work and fit it for less than £100..

All was good until I pointed out my glass was clear. "that car was never available with clear glass sir, you must be mistaken"...

Even Audi UK called me a liar when I insisted my car had clear glass...

I eventually got one from Stuttgart Audi for 200 euros..

after playing my face with Audi UK yesterday, I may have got a result.

They do have a source in Germany for a lot of early parts although it is not Audi GmBH, as all the early parts were sold to an outside company. But it seems Audi UK can get these parts from Germany if you apply a bit of weight into the conversation!

Sounds like the place mine came from, it wasn't part of the Audi group but seemed to carry lots of stock for old cars..
