First. Nice new whip fella!

Secondly, the 1.8 (8v lump I presume) is a fairly decent engine in itself so doubt you'd see any benefit if swapping over to be honest.

When you picking up the 80?

Outputs pretty much spot on the same.

Guess the advantage would be the sound, smoothness etc.
WN code engine...brings back fond memories.

Now if you said about transplanting a 1.8 Turbo lump into out of of, let's say a TT for example, now that would be kinda interesting!

1.8T out of a A4 would slide in there no problem.
