Default Typ 85 Audi 80 front windscreen

as it seems mine has a huge crack in it and National Windscreens have drawn a blank and Audi parts are as about as much use as tits on a fish.

Taken 4 months to get a down pipe for the CQ20V. Audi's answer then was 'Sorry mate, try ebay'.
Just what a customer wants to hear.
Have mailed Audi UK with yet another large rant.

Doubt anything will come of it though. As an interim, I'm going to have to use the screen out of the 1979 Audi 80. It's not going anywhere (well it won't now anyway), but it means I can get the sport back on the road as I'm having to use the rally rep as a daily at the moment!

What? Even new windscreen for B2 can't be bought in UK?

Coxy, for future, if u don't care about postage price, I can try to get for u contacts of some junkyard here that can send to u parts [of course if someone wants to do it], of course, not windscreen

Or other option, when u need some part that isn't very fragile and/or big - register in some Polish/Lituanian/Latvian Audi forum and when need some part that isn't in uk, make topic "hey, I need [part's name], can u send it to me to uk!".

I'll have to check it over friday i know its crack free but i think there may be the odd chip on the edges (minutes and within the seal area.)
