Folks,
Want to change my fuel filter. Never done it before so looked at my old Haynes manual and it doesn't give any advice on changing the fuel filter on post 1985 C3s. It's as though it's not required. The filter is the metal canister type and has been there for years, so I think it deserves a change. Do I have to replace the metal washers or can I re-use them? Does the new filter need priming with fuel before fitting? |

Regards the washers, whatever seals ! I've seen me giving washers the annealing treatment before(not on an Audi however!), I think it's dependant on the filter being used ? Worth doing for sure |
