It was bin day this morning, they’re always here just after 8am, the bins have to be at ‘curbside’ that’s the rule, we like rules in Sussex; so our local Geriatrics put the bins out on Friday, ready for Monday, I assume on the off chance they might croak over the weekend and get told off for breaking said Rule.

But, and this is the best bit, this morning, having had the bins out the front all weekend, 2 of them stood there and watched the blokes empty it.

It really does do my head in…. Why can't they just chuck the bins out on Sunday evening like everyone else?

That bloody nosey Whippasnapper neighbour of ours with the 1985 WR quattro, very, very noisy 1985 RallyRep (he tapes the sound and posts it on t'internet) oh and his 1993 MTM ABY S2 Avant has been spying on us again, so next week we put them out on a Thursday. It comes to something when the highlight of the week is watching us watching the bin men. pah

Why do they insist on hosing the bin out with Jays Fluid every Monday too??? It's not like their long dead mother-in-law's going to suddenly rear up out of the local sewer for an impromptu, 'Rubbish bin mould and tops of the door dust' inspection....
