Turbo on one of our ovlov coaches has just snapped in half 160,000 km, better than that a Scania one went in less than 50,000 miles

I'm glad the Volvo is still under warranty Emjay. A cylinder head job runs into real money.
Still a gross inconvenience, rented cars, trips to and from rental and mechanic with a 2nd person driving a 2nd car. Shenanigans.

I say, No more monkeys, send me the organ grinder !

Well today I think I blew the turbo, less than 4 weeks after shagging the cylinder head.

Coming home from Southport, hitting the M6, dropped a gear to get her skirts up and lost a shed of power. Warning light came on telling me to get her in to a dealership urgently. She won't pull above 2.5K revs when she normally has plenty of torque.

Oh bugger, another Vectra waits for me

So relaible these ovlovs sine the last turbo broke we have had a gearbox ecu fail, a compressor destroy itself ,allowing it parts to be sucked up into turbo so destroying that and the intercooler, another has a bizzar lecy fault where by it will only run for about 5 secs then stall been with the dealers 3 weeks now no sign of it returning yet, suspension failure on another and finaly for this month exhaust manifold gaskets not bad for coaches that have done less than 180,000km and are only just 4 years old !!
