Well, maybe we are talking about different kinds of subframe bushes - you all about some kind of "sport" or whatever, while I about simple ones? I changed them at the time when I worked in car repair shop, I was prepared to use hydraulic press, but first I asked my colleagues what to do and they said like I said earlier.

Once nice and soft tapped out with hammer and wide blade driver,result! cheers!

That's the option I chose, works a treat! Just got to be careful not to keep the heat on the arms longer than necessary (expanding and contracting - weakening the metal).
