I'm sure you know this already, but my brothers big valve TSR head dropped a valve after about 20k miles too. The Collete wore through the valve stem and allowed the valve to pass through into the chamber.. His dropped at about 2500rpm on a trailing throttle running up to a roundabout... Didn't help, engine was still toast....

PS, 20vT is the way to goooo.....

That is either a coincidence or a serious design fault/ cheap collets used by TSR as mine was an identical failure although mine failed just as I pulled onto a dual carriageway, scary for me and several others..
