This car was seen on a couple of local rallies up to 2011 and I think the best thing the seller could do is break it for parts and then crush the car. It's a shed from all accounts, and apparently it was built from bits of sheds. Last seen (unsold) on eBay for less than is being asked here.

As someone with a reasonable understanding of quattro rally cars, I can't imagine anyone in their right mind paying this kind of money for such a sad looking machine when the same wonga buys a top twenty clubman Scooby which is only half as tired as this.

Just noticed that the price is 'or nearest offer'.

Well, I'd take nothing of the asking price in my offer. The last nothing of £16500 to be precise.

Dare say the parts might be worth £1650!

Without the full spec of the car being outlined in the advert, can we assume it's a fairly standard lump in it? Safety Devices 6 point cage by the looks of it, suspension, it's probably safe to say, nothing special.

To source a reasonable shell and all the bits this could be built, I would say, for about half of what he's asking.

Oh, and that spoiler. Why do people think it's a good idea to fit one of those cheap and totally inaccurate abortions to a ur? It's nothing like any of the spoilers that were fitted to the rally cars, just an embarrassing mess.

Lots of standard/clubman kit on the car and the 'spoiler' is an abortion with the radiator in the back. Perhaps it's worth the money (to some) as a prototype S1E2 then!

This looks to be pretty similar to what's fitted before the add ons:

Every Ur should have one
