Anybody interested in this?

With door bars too.

Made by Dialynx.

Currently in car but will get it out at some point if anyone is interested. Was used for rallying so met the specs required etc.

provisionally sold to some guy, whenever I get my finger out of my arse and remove it from the car (it is currently being used as a mobile shed).

Hopefully doing it over Christmas, and taking off the:

engine loom
brakes
gearbox
suspension struts (bilsteins)
doors
glass
lights
towbar

That's about all the useful stuff on there really.

But I have moved it from that side of the drive to the other, so I can keep the 80CL in the garage now!

"Ray the Looney"? (aka Badger Motorsport)

Yes, I bought it in 2005, and still haven't stripped it down yet, might try this week.

Steve

Steve, has that by chance got an up rated wiring loom in it for the headlights... There will be three relays next to the nearside headlight if there is?

Just a thought, as I know someone who's after one.

Don't know, will have a look when I get chance.

Will it be something I would want to transplant over to the 80CL?

To be fair, maybe, depending on condition and whether the car has 'dim-dip' or not. They're (in the original format) not the most reliable, with the relays being only 'average' and the 'dim-dip' set-up of later cars (post-83) causing a switching back feed that caused relays to 'stick'... So, in principle, yes it could be of benefit to you if you've got one... But they are a right PITA to get sorted...
