Default Wastegate Diaphragm

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a Waste gate diaphragm for a 1990 Audi 100 Turbo with a 5 cylinder 2.23 ltr MC engine?

yup..

quattrocorner 50 bucks i think. i need to get one too, keep forgetting. i'm only getting 1.2 bar again.. so if i do the diaphragm then at least i know its not to blame. 0.2 bar short seems to me kind of similar to what the little electric wtf its called solenoid thing should be adding if it was working..?
is yours burst? your car??

Usual suspects. Pete Reeve (supplied mine on the ur), Dialynx. I might well be barking up the wrong arboreal growth, but aren't these all essentially the same in the various iterations of the (audi) wastegate?

Couldn't say. It's not for one of my cars, just trying to do a favour for a mate. How do I get in touch with Pete Reeve?

Easy guys, low boost is never a torn wastegate diaphragm. If you look at the way the system is plumbed it creates an over boost then fuel pump shutdown. Low boost I would be more suspect of a bad wide open throttle switch or a failed multi function temp sensor telling the ECU the engine is in overheat and limiting boost.

Hope that helps,

Dan
