Never used one but if its anything like the air filters then youll be ok with one.
Do yourself a favour too. Get a big ring magnet off of a loudspeaker or out of an old hard drive ( theyre neodymium and will squish your fingers they have so muchpower) and attach it to the end ( over the nut) of the filter to further trap magnetic debris. I did this when i rebuilt the golfs engine and after itd been run for a few hours i took it off, cut the filter open and could see the particles sitting on the end of the can. Stops it from being cycled around the filter. ![]() |
