Before you point me to a haynes manual, pls do attempt to answer the question.
Where is the thermostart for my '75 1500 80 GL located? I suspect it is sticking as the cab has been standing for a few years, and the top hose is untouchable while the lower hose one can hold for a while. I am attempting to source a haynes manual, but they seem to be far and wide apart here in South Afrika for this model ![]() |

dont know...but watch you dont boil her..!!!!
i wouldnt start a car that had been standing for any time without first checking or replacing the thermostat.. |

Its just where the bottom hose connect to the water pump two 10m bolts and the housing may be made of plastic.

be careful removing the bolts they shear off really easy.... class looking car by the way....
