A little late to add to this thread, but I also have a KV with similar symptoms. A few months back I had troubles as posted on here, which turned out to be seized pump. Car since been in for some bodywork & now runs like a pile of s**t. Won't run after initial start until coaxed with lots of throttle prodding & gradually building up revs; so thought warm up reg, but when (eventually) warmed would rev, but died as soon as you go to pull away. Tried pump - yet another: & + terminal snapped off the new pump. taped up connector just to try it & no different. So will try another pump I know is good & then poss Warm up Reg. I wonder if blocked filter would cause it, or accumulator not doing it's job, but I thought that was just to keep pressure in system? I'll have another go tomorrow, but any thoughts meantime?
