I see the answer to this question as follows.

Customer loyalty to the brand.

If the suits at Audi AG dont give piss in a pot about us, Audi buyers, promoters, drivers and parts buyers then its a sure fire way to cut your own throat.
It makes no sense from a viewpoint of business to alienate the very people who you depend on to promote your products by driving them and showing them to others.

Why did i drive a GT Coupe for 13 years? Because i liked the product, its precisely why ive bought Quasi, because i like the product and to me at least, the year it was made means little.
I dont expect the lack of a brake pipe flexi or a diff seal to put a perfectly good vehicle off the road for what one of those costs.

Carry on Audi suits and beancounters, keep on taking a dump on the people who you rely on and see where it ends.
Not many can afford an R8 at 50 grand plus and at this rate theyll be selling even fewer.

And breathe....

Ps, make Phillip Glenister an honorary Classic Audi member if QOC dont want to know.
