Central Locking Trouble

any idea what i need to correct the intermittent working of the central locking on the audi 90?

the driver's side rear door button goes down sometimes and the boot has stopped locking with the central locking all together now. rubbish! do you think that the central locking solenoid actuators are gubbed in these two areas?
