Default 88 wr misfire :-(!!

Hi all,
The Wr has developed a misfire at around 2500-3000rpm (when it comes onto the turbo) Missis and really struggles to build. Ive cleaned the air flow metre, checked the fuel rate and looked for a boost leak but no luck. Guess ignition is the next place to look but someone suggested to me, (as the car sometimes struggles to start the fires up 4th or 5th time) That the diaphram ontop of teh airbox is prone to wear. Can anyone confirm this or sugest where i go next??
brighter note, adjustable koni's, new CV and new steering wheels arrived today :-)
Many thanks
Andy

Try the pipe between the manifold and wastegate, is not blocked check the connector in the Exh. manifold as well as this could be blocked
