Whats the best method tae get them out?
I've got a few needing replaced and there rather tight!! ta ! |

Tight?? Remove subframe, put it on ground and place it on something so it's a bit above ground, take adequate size object, for example, bit from wrench set, put it on bush you want to remove and use your hammer

Small gas bottle, waft the flame on the rubber for two minutes and hey presto, the rubber will fall out. Inner bush usually come too. Much less labour intensive than hitting socket with hammers in that it's just a bit of left to right wrist action with the magic tin of fire!

Youll never get them out with a hammer, the rubber just soaks up all your blows.
I used a collar (large diameter tube) that fits over the larger end to support the subframe then squeezed them out (and in) with a vice. No drama. ![]() |
