Default Mk1 Audi 80 Wanted ( 1972- 1975 )

According to Practical Classsics magazine, there is only one of these cars registered as running on the road, That means that there must be hundreads of them locked up in barns and garages all over the country

Well, I don't want, them all.........I only want to buy one, would prefer a 2 door, but will still consider a 4 door.

So, come on in your droves .......contact me and offer me your MK1 80 Audi, so I can love it and look after it.

call Mark on -07947 65 75 42 or e-mail mcapachey@aol.com

I think Practical Classics was specifically talking about the Audi 80 S - which as a Typ 82 was always a rare beast. There are a few Ls, LSs and GLSs dotted about though. ;-)

Well, to be fair.......they did'nt really specify which ones their data was referring to, however they did show a photo a pre 1976 one, so I am assuming they meant the Mk1 , pre facelift.

I have never been lucky enough to see any of them in my neck of the woods.........the owners must be avoiding me, probably dreamt it in their sleep that I would be stopping them and throwing money in their faces if they give me their cars and signed the logbook.

This leaves me even more hell bent on finding one now....................the owners better watch out !

There was one for sale in Milton Keynes about 18 months ago. The guy couldn't sell it for love nor money.
Was a '75 model is red with black vinyl roof.
Think he let it go for £400 in the end.
It had MOT but had developed a problem with the fuel supply which the owner had got the time to sort out. Probably something very simple as well.

Phone the owners on 07092787969

or text me on 07971 661221 or PM me or email thepimp@b41ley.com and I'll pass on your details.

The lady who owns it acquired it from her late Father who was the second owner from approx 1 year old.

As such, she'd like to see it be restored rather than scrapped or broken.

I had a look at it but it has too much welding for me, but I said I'd help her sell it by putting photos and details on here.

I got it running after I stuck a new battery on it (not included in sale!) but the carb linkages are seized so I couldn't rev it up.

All pics were taken yesterday except the side shot.

from side (in 2005 though)

I have lots more pics of detail shots if you can PM or email me.

PLEASE SAVE IT!!!!

sorry, it was last summer and has gone to the scrap yard in the sky by now. It was rusty as hell. Seriously rusty.
