Default Limey is dead! Help!

Hello!

Poor Limey is currently dead.

I cant get into her without the alarm going off.
The alarm is a Cobra.

The keyfob just suddenly stopped working.I put new batteries in,thanks to Salcat, still no entry!

I cant find a sodding thing on the net which helps, all posts simply say change the battery!

So,no car now....

Not good.

Hi mate. Just got ya missed call mate. Sorry about that!
Is there a small key somewhere with the car? You can often turn off the unit totally with a key.... Aside from that mate to be honest there's little I can suggest without the instructions for that particular model of alarm. I am able to fully remove it but that's not a quick fix!

I'll have a butchers on the net. Do you know the alarm model?

No Ive tried to find the box but I have stopped now due to my temper freying.Never a good time for me to continue working on anything!

I know its one where you dont program the fob when youve simply changed a battery.

Sorry I cant help more.

I want the system completely removed ideally.

Its cheap,and pony!

May need you here Ben if you could call 0898-Groom-800 with a price..........

She lives!

I spent most of the day removing my alarm and immobilisers!

At least weather was good, and I now know a lot more about the underside of the dash!!

My Cobra Alarm Module Box had fried its insides a good un,due to age and fitting right up by the heater matrix. The fitter was "Stupid Boy Pike" by my reckoning!

Hope you all had a great time at AITP

Shame we couldnt come.Couldnt even go to Labrador Breeders to earn me quids today!Arse!

Steve
