Default Typ 44 suspension bushes.

The 100 avant is pootling along nicely and has taken me all over the place. Recently it completed a trip up to Elgin in Scotland towing a large trailer and in a few weeks were all going to Cornwall in it. Great! Not bad for an old banger eh?

Anyway, the handling has started to go a bit floppy and I can feel things in the suspension department moving about on braking and cornering. Sooner or later im going to need a set of bushes (probably sooner tbh)

Does anyone here know of a kit thats available that coveres all the bushes in the suspension? Should I go for polybushes over the normal rubber type? How much and I looking at and how difficult is it to do?

Many thanks!

You will have to go OEM for bushes, they are not made by powerflex for your 100. Apart from the wishbone bushes at either end, but the whole arm is £25 with bushes.

Good luck in finding them!!!

You are right, just the inner and outer wishbone bushes are available in poly, I suspect these are the ones that have gone soft though. You can also get "steering arm to rack" bushes, whatever they are!
