Hi All,
On an instrument cluster for a 1990 Audi 200 Turbo (the later one with loads of dials) does anyone know which component determines wheter the trip computer displays in MPH or KPH, Is it the pcb or is it the trip computer display unit? I recently replaced my PCB (the orignal was burnt out and the trip comp was not working)using a second hand cluster imported from the UK. My Mechanic switched the clocks but forgot about the trip computer so now I have a working trip computer with MPG in a country that uses KPH. I still have the original trip computer display unit but I suspect it is burnt out, like the PCB was. Is there a way of get the existing working trip computer to display in KPH instead of MPH? I there a switch that lets me change between one or the other or maybe a jumper that can be change. Any help, much appreciated |
