Its not really fair to compare a Quattro to Delta S4's, T16's, 037, RS200 etc.. as they were all 100% purpose designed tube chassis specials, whereas Quattros, even SWB versions were, effectively, modified production cars with steel chassis etc.. they even retained mcpherson strut suspension.. personally I think they can only be compared favourably with the Manta 400 and Nissan RS240

Its a shame Audi never got to use their own mid engine group B car..
