TSR engine was a 2337cc, pack C big valve head and mild 268cam. Kicked out a healthy 175bhp, But dropping a valve was the one of only 2 times the car has left me stranded, Tim sorted me a non hydraulic head to replace it but I already had other plans by then.......
I'm sure you know this already, but my brothers big valve TSR head dropped a valve after about 20k miles too. The Collete wore through the valve stem and allowed the valve to pass through into the chamber.. His dropped at about 2500rpm on a trailing throttle running up to a roundabout... Didn't help, engine was still toast....

PS, 20vT is the way to goooo.....
