What DSLR Camera
Over to you photo experts then. Whars a good entry level (circa £400) DSLR then? Its mind boggling looking on the various websites. Sometimes best to go on peoples personal reccomendations

Can E05 400D, Cant use it but great!

from the side of the fence, Nikon D80/D90.
You should be able to pick up a decent D80 with a couple of lenses for that kind of money. Most threads like this seem to end up in a Nikon vs Canon 'argument'! Personally, I chose the Nikon as it just felt and looked a much nice camera. But that it just my personal opinion. Both are good cameras in their own right. Best get down a camera shop and get a feel for them in your hands and see which one suits you better. |
Shall re- type Canon E0S 400d!

I am selling this camera if interested, open to sensible offers. Can get it as far as Leeds for free at the end of the month. |
I have the Nikon d80 as well
|
I have the Nikon D90 but buggered if I know how to use it.
|
my 2 daughters both have Nikons (D70 and 80 and I think) and they are both very nice camera's. If you want something easy to use then Nikon and Canon aren't the market leaders for nothing.
Personally I am on the lookout for a Pentax or Samsung at the moment, mainly cos I have used a Pentax ME Super which I absolutely loved and some of my old lenses will fit. |
