what sort of price would a WR head that needs a refurb be worth these days please?

its all I have left from my dead engine apart from the crankshaft and gearbox.

£300.00 if you want to keep it...
£100.00 possibly...

Bay of fleas would be the best bet...

Probably a Hydraulic one... The shimmed Ur heads (re-conditioned) have been NLA from Audi since the late 90's, so the numbers are going to be pretty low now.

You can actually convert any of the hydro heads to shimmed items if you use the valves, springs and buckets from a WR in an MB 1B or KV type head... i intend to do exactly the same when i finally build this 1B turbo engine up.
It also gives you the opportunity to go shimless buckets for a lighter valvetrain. :)
