how do you bleed the power steering on my 100 kv 1987 PO put in atf fluid, ive drained the bottle, undone what i think is the return pipe, got about a litre of fluid out, but does it
self bleed, or is it just a case of trial and error.

much appreciated in advance

Not sure about yours, but other cars I have done you just keep turning the steering full lock to lock a few times they Usually bleed themselves .

Agree . Full lock to lock two or three times should do it. Did you replace filter at same time. Always worth doing if replacing the fluid.

You should turn the wheel lock to lock with the engine running, preferably with the wheels raised off the ground
