type 85 80/90 sunroof panel
 

as per title,
anyone happen to have a sunroof panel for a type 85 80/90. Ideally with mech but id take one without.
Just to add the coupe ones are different and wont fit

If you're not fussed about tilt and slide, Mk2 Golf ones should fit.

I sold my sunroof to a Mk2 Golf boy as the Audi 80 ones tilt and slide, but the Mk2 Golf ones only tilt........

Other way round isn't it ?

My Mark 2 Golfs both had sunroofs and they both slid open but didnt tilt

you're right, I was confused!

But the panel should be the same???

aye theyre the same size but not sure if theyre interchangable between the mk2 and audi mechs

Corrado....

sod that, ive had 12 corrados and ive had to fix the bloody sunroof on every single one. 11 of them ive fitted passat estate panel and mechs too as theyre a straight swap.

Do corrado mechs.panels bolt straight up to the 80/90? id beinterested if they did as i can then convert mine to electic sunroof

passat one's should be an easy find and could get a glass one.

B2 80/90 fit into Mk2 with the mechanism, so if you get a Mk2 Golf one, with the mechanism, it should fit your B2..........

Lets put it this way, the seal is the same part, my brothers 86GT has a Corrado seal, just reversed on fitment, inside is outside, if you get my drift.

So the handle,s on the roof,on the outside?:)

I've got a full slider unit (rails, mech, panel the lot) out of a mk3 polo, it's the same as a mk2 golf one, so from what's been said, should be fine for what you need. The panel's in VW Steel Blue. I'm between Nottingham and Derby, but should be able to courier it if you're interestted? Alternatively, if you're going to the Breakfast club, I'll probably be there, or can send it with a mate.
