do you wave at other classic Audis?

Hello,

Do you wave at other classic Audis as you see them out and about.

I do if I am in my Series 2 80. Series 3 80s are just cheap runabouts.

The other day I saw a car exactly the same as mine:



except it was H reg. Same colour, same wheels, quattro too.

I waved and he waved back.

yup!

there's a Polish guy who lives near me who drives a 1985 200. Always get a wave and a flash, and so does the old boy who's got the 80 sport near where I work!

To be honest though, that's about all I've seen on the road!!

There's a few older Audis around here, I don't wave but if the driver is looking I smile, usually they smile back.

90 quattro 20V different matter. but there are a lot of dog rough D/E/F/G plate 80 1.8s on ebay.

They are a good source of 3A engine blocks though for 2 litre conversions!!!

Only joking. Good solid cars, and galvanised too, which is why they're still around.

I tend to wave at the older ones and vw owners but that due to the local club being mainly vw some of them have never seen an audi before lol

Yes I do! There are so few of them around where I live! Strangely there's one almost the same as mine locally, but that's about it.

Wish there were more about, the likeliness of seeing one increases slightly when I go on a long trip but I haven't done that for a while!

I've yet to come across another Classic Audi whilst driving the coupe

I did flash at a white coupe gt the other day but he must've thought i was mad as I was in a BMW Z4 and forgot

Mind you theres only 2 Coupes in a 30 mile radius of here.One of those is mine!!

But yeah,lots of TTs wave and flash,maybe cos theyve moved on to a TT from a Coupe.Oh,and theres a mint A8 (I will have one perhaps after this car) who appreciates my Coupe often,and its condition.Good old boy!

A4s and 80s wave too.

This is all quite a big deal really,as South Lincs is mainly full of thick and/or unfriendly people!!
