Don't know if it sold or not but its been kicking around a while on ebay and pistonheads, but its not a GT5S its a GT5E with retro fitted quad lamps and a poxy body kit. Would like to think someone on here has bought it and turn into what it should be.

whats the difference in 5E and 5S by the way....

yeah not keen on the bodykit either... cars about a while must be on the expensive side or something...

GT5E is fuel injection not carburettor and they came out on a Y plate ( 1 August 1982 to 31 July 1983)
with flat front one piece headlamps, I'm not honestly sure of you could get a carb GT5S with the flat front headlamps, without referring to literature. My feeling is all the carb models were quadlamps but I may well be wrong.

But the photo's of this one showed the engine bay and it was clearly fuel injection. I've no problem with that just don't like adverts selling something they aint got !!

ah right... first 5 pot i ever drove was a black coupe with one piece twin glass h/lights... its about 15 years ago so cant remember if it had a carb or not.... went like a f**kin rocket though... loved big 5s ever since... dude put it through a wall a couple of weeks later and put quads in it when he repaired it... probably ended up in another wall knowing the fella that owned it.... bit of a mentaller....
