Default Star gazers delight!

Mars is clearly visible in the night sky, just above to the left of the full moon,i've had a look its clearly red, looks great through a 200mm lens or binos. Its presently 64 million miles from the earth and directly opposite the sun.

Wolf moon.
Mars nearby, super cold and clear.
Not out in th US yet.
Can't wait.

Wednesdays moon was great too.
Massive double corona/halos.
Looked like a special effect.
Tried for a pic but the small digital camera wasn't up to the task.

I went out for a bit,just got in.COLD.
Had a mess with my camera.Sorry, could only get the moon, that was hard enough.
Too cold to experiment. Not bad for 1st attempt.

heres my first effort. Used an old 200mm prime lens in manual mode. Not quite sure what the best white balance is to use so just chose daylight for now.

ISO 200
Shutter Speed 1/90
F stop 22
