Default 1990 Audi V8 3.6 32v 71k
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : 1990 Audi V8 3.6 32v
Price : £995
Location : Wolverhampton
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook),Taxed,MOT'd

Putting my V8 up for sale as with the increased fuel costs, running this as a daily just isn't paying dividends!!
That said, it's as comfy as hell and when you don't hoof it, you'll get high 20's out of it.
The other week I drove from mine to Warrington and back and averaged 28mpg.

Anyway, this is a cheap luxo-barge.
It's not perfect but I'm not asking the world for it!
The low down.

It's a 1990 Audi V8 with the 3.6 32v lump. (243bhp).
Fitted with:
Full leather interior
Electric seats (heated and full adjustable)
Electric windows and mirrors
Climate Control
Audi Gamma stereo
Walnut cappings.
Electric sunroof
15" wheels all with good tread.
71k from new.
MOT till March 2010
Tax until end March 2010

Car was used for several years, then laid up in storage in about 2002, where it sat till earlier this year. The chap I got it off spent about £500 on recommissioning it. Fluids/belts etc.

It does have a few minor niggles, but it's nearly 20 years old, it's a V8 and it's is less than a grand! (will be higher if I advertise it on eBay/PH)
Drivers seat heater intermittent
A small dent/crease on the pass door
Small amount of rust bubbles on the drivers door where the rubber trim meets the door.
There's an area about 6" sq on the front of the bonnet where the lacquer has lifted and has also affected some of the basecoat but not the primer.
Handrbake is crap but it's an auto quattro so just put it in park and lock all 4 wheels up instead of just the back 2!
Rears pads have wear left but light on dash says they need changing. I have bought a new set of rear pads and they will go with the car.
drivers side rear leccy window switch in-op.
Bonnet has had a respray at some point as it's a slightly bluer shade of silver.
Not much history.

I have done a small video so you can have a look around the car yourself. Better than a few arty photo's!

Drives like a dream m8.
The V8 is silky smooth and hardly breaks in to a sweat doing a steady 70 on the motorway.

However, switch her in to 'sport' mode and hoof it and you feel a huge amount of power take you and the huge barge forward in to the middle of next week!

Not quite the same as the brutish force you get from an RS2 when the turbo kicks it at around 3000rpm, but powerful enough all the same and the pick up is nice and constant and the auto change is very smooth.

Al,is this the one you bought earlier in the year?
As I thought it was blue and you returned it for a refund...

Didnt know you had another one...

Interested in exchanging for Gelbus???
I know you've been looking for a 2.6 for a while now...
Shes running the best she ever has lately.Ive thrown about a couple of grand at her this year.

Id really like an Auto again...

PM me if youre interested

By my reckoning our cars are worth about the same money.

This one I picked up 2 months ago at ADI.
Not really after an exchange as I've kinda got too many at the moment and already bought a replacement for the V8 today.

tell ya what, give us £995, drive the car down as that will save £100 on courier fees, cash in the tax and get £50, sell the seats and get £250, put the rest on eBay and your leisure and then you've got yourself a V8 lump for next to nowt!

And I'm not breaking a good Audi for anyone!! You'll have to have that on your conscience!!

Go on,make the Lime better than I ever could.

You'll have a manual 2.6 in lovely condition, and you wont see another.

What car did you buy today to replace the V8 anyway???
