In my 89 Audi 200 quattro my brake fluid resvaior and power steering resvaior are conected with a rubber hose. So this would mean they use the same fluid right?
If so what kind should I use? ![]() |

my book says hydraulic oil G 002 000
no direct duckhams equivalent available , but d-matic can safely be used for topping up |

I think you mean it goes to the brake servo, not the brake fluid resevoir. And there's your clue - hydraulic system provides the servo.
Brake fluid in the brake system. Hydraulic fluid (G 002 000 is the VAG no. as Mickey says) in the hydraulic system. Use of ATF is not correct. |
