Advice needed on changing my Audi

Hello all!

I was just starting to compile a model history for the 200 for this forum.

I was soon distracted.The reason for this is that I realised how much I want to own one of these beasts.I know of one for sale at present but it is in Scotland.Im happy to go there to see it but Im not sure on one thing.

If the car was in a like for like condition,would it be cheaper to run than my Coupe?Im thinking roughly speaking (Im starting to feel like this was a bad idea to post already!).

A 2.2T against my 2.6 V6.Would it be the case that Id have to do much longer journeys to get any kind of good fuel consumption out of it?I think Id go for an Auto if there was a choice too.The one inScotland is manual though.

Im now going to continue compiling the list I might add!

hi my bro had 2.6 coupe and for some reason it seemed to be really good on fuel, however we never checked it , i now have a 2.2 turbo 100 manual and get around 28 mpg and im not the slowest of drivers , as i always give my car a lot of stick from time to time , but if you gun do gun it for long periods it does drink a bit, not sure if this is the sort of info you after but there it is anyway lol
