Default Which steering wheel?...

After a quick blat down to Brum this weekend ive decided that the steering wheel on my 100 avant is just too big and could do with being replaced with a smaller one. It looks like the type of thing youd find on a supertanker and can make things awkward and uncomfortable.

Does anyone know which other models would have a smaller wheel that would fit? An aftermarket one would do fine (aslong as its not too chavvy) but it needs to be compatible with the horn ring.

Any ideas anyone??

What colour is your wheel now Tim. I have a nice leather one of a 1988 80 Sport which is a four spoke one but in dark brown.

The wheel is black so it would have to match that really- The steering is very light as it is so I think we could get away with a smaller wheel, ill be prepared to be proven wrong though!

Do VW Golf/polo e.t.c wheels fit?

There is only one choice, the 3 Spoke S2 style wheel from a 80 Sport 16V or very late 8V. Great wheel and takes the piss out of the standard wheel. They are on ebay all the time.
