Mums
This lunch time my Mum rang me for a general chat. She mentioned there was a horse running today called "Lucy's Perfect" (Lucy is my 3 yr olds name).
"I'll have bet on that" I said "Dont be silly, its got a rubbish rating" "I'll put a tenner on it to win" "Don't be silly- a £ each way" "No, lets have a bit of faith" "No it really has no chance" Got as far as registering on the William Hill site, there was £25 free bet on there for newbies, but my Mothers words echoed in my head, and we're a bit skint anyway at the moment so I didn't bother. Now my Mum is one of these pensioner types who checks the papers each day for all sorts of things and know all about all sorts of unlikely things Lucys Perfect won the 3.30 at Winsor today at 28-1  |

they weren't that bad in the end!
I mean, I followed Shrewsbury Town for 30 years so I've seen a lot worse! although we did beat Man City 2 - 0 in the FA Cup about 30 years ago! |
