Purchased in Jersey in 1987, but imported through Portsmouth in 1988 with local (OR) plate applied. 1 previous owner. 140,000 miles. Tax to end of April & MOT to mid-May 2010. Drives superbly & doesn’t use any oil or water to speak off, well not in my 3000 miles of ownership. Interior fresh & clean, but replacement drivers side, black seat back fitted. Cambelt was done together with calipers/pads on rear 3000 miles ago. New front pads at same time. All bushes on the front & rear subframe very good. New rear exhaust box & headlights fitted when I first got it. Everything works except clock. Bad points – really the paintwork, which has had work here & there over the years. Roof has a few scabs & n/s 'A post' has been poorly repaired, but the rest of it has no rust whatsoever, but paint is variable. Overall effect is good, but hopefully you can see that from photos. I’ve put it’s original Ronals back on: rubber on 3 is reasonable, but 4th tyre has puncture, so have put an odd Ronal on which does not have very good tyre (n/s/r). Other Ronal included, as is part of its original set. A radio/cassette will be included, but I’ve removed my Pioneer CD. N/s/f speaker is a bit fuzzy: poor connection? Anyway, it’s a sound, good car that goes very very well & is only one owner + me. It’s obviously been loved in its time. Looking for something near to £1500.
