Coming up for sale soon Audi 200 quattro turbo 1986 non starter have now lost all interest in the car. owned by me over 6 years. maybe wiring issue? comes with mot(nov) 17 inch alloys , 4 new tyres, stainless exhaust, new front screen, new springs x4 new shocks x4, new brake pipes throughout the car , flexi hoses , new track rod ends, new lower track control arms, replaced halogen lights, new brake master clyinder, new pads front and rear , replaced calipers and discs 18 months ago, new front wheel bearing, replaced power steering pump, starter motor, no climate control. pump motor removed .great interior.electric windows work drivers side is slower than the rest? sunroof opens and tilts ok ,good gear box no problems, memory electric seats work ok, cruise control working ok, may come with sound s if i get a good offer.?? 2 jbl amps 2 channel / 4 channel/ 10 disc cd shuttle. 5 inch dvd screen and player. sony head unit and midi disc player. 12 pioneer sub. plus 2 x 10 inch subs on rear shelf, plus 2 6x9 rear shelf. 1 power capacitor for bass loss. this is a great car for some with some patients to get it sorted. have spent a fortune on this car so i wont give it a way i would rather leave it in my garage. pictures on car on my profile under Bart Simspon. Any questions i will gladly answer sencibles ones only. car hope fully will be home end of next week friday still at Bens in Burton upon Trent. will need to be trailered as non starter.

I can tell you how nice this car is. Really well cared for car. The car now cranks and coil/fuel pump going live. Just wants bit more time to get running. Would make a nice car and issue is probably simple, just can't find the issue in a reasonable time.
I have put right a huge amount of the wiring problems there were and it's now 90% there. ANyone buying this car with a bit of time to replace some wiring would be very happy with it.
Wish I could spend a few solid days on it as I KNOW it'd go!! FRUSTRATING!!!

Would be a great shame to see it go to waste!

Hi 4 door saloon. 2.1 10 v 1986 red. .please note original rear shelf taken out replaced with 1 inch mdf to allow for speakers. have original shelf covering in garage . but would need to replace back shelf with new piece of mdf board

Hi micky sad day feels like ive lost a member of the family. looking at audi s4 on ebay but bidding closes late tonight. not sure what to do at present? may go back to rover 3500s so simple to work on ive had 4 of these now which i have restored over the years and sprayed . (ex car paint sprayer) last paint job was this audi 200 i have. But 55 years old now and dont really want to start working on cars any more. have been looking at the classic car section on ebay have you seen the prices people are asking ? wheres this recesions ? best regards Bart.

me i would still try and find some way of getting it going.but that's me. these cars are rare and a quattro

.i know you are fed up with the not starting but its not the end of the world .but whoever gets it they will have a fab car so all is not lost

too good to scrap or break

i love 200s would you maybe consider some sort of part ex- with my s4? its a lovely car and im probably mad but i would defo be interested

Hi thanks for the message hows new milton these days used to live there in the hyde new milton. and work in brockenhurst .i am at present looking at s4 turbo on ebay but bidding finishes to late for me up at 4 in morning Hgv driver, not sure if you have seen my Audi 200 qt great car great condition , great stereo resprayed by me 6 years ago lots of new parts fitted over the years. needs nothing just a wiring issue cannot find?? Ben at avperformance is a bit upset to say the least. regards Bart.
