Default Silvestone Classic

Did anyone else go to Silverstone Classic this weekend?

My first time to this event and Silvertsone and I thought it was great. An excellent mix of trade stands, racing, up close stuff in the pits etc and club stands.

Unless I messed up and missed it though, there was a distinct lack of Audi. In my opinion the event was in much need of an Audi club reperesentation, as there was from Mercedes, BMW, Porcshe, TVR, Caterham, Ferrari etc. Even the MX5 club were there!

I think the Classic Audi forum has to have some club space next year if I may say so.

I have some pics uploading, not many Audi I am afraid, I'll post a link later when they are up.

As an ex E30 owner (x2) my jaw dropped when I saw that, it was lovelly. There was a different E30 driving around badged 2.7 with Alpina wheels too.

Thumbs up

an audi presence sounds a good idea to me!

As it happens i'm off to silverstone on sunday . As its fordfair.

I did think about booking some track time in for the Coupe Quattro.. but I'm a bit worried about the possibility of a long walk home afterwards.

EDIT: just seen this

As the end of the year approaches, maybe it's not too soon to be thinking about forum attendance for 2010?

reckon it's worthy of us doing a stand there. It's a stunning show and worth going anyway!
