Default WANTED B3 shape 80 Quattro

A title, I'm after a B3 80 Quattro as a project, preffure something I could drive away

They're possibly the most unloved of all the Quattro's, but i've a soft spot for them and fancy building one up

Cheers,

Tone

you're probably about right there about them being pretty much unloved.

Kully on here has an absolute minter (not for sale though). It'll be one of these cars that will just disappear and before we know there will be none left! I'll keep my eye out for ya!

Cheers mate

There's just something about the under-dogs that makes me want one lol

I'd like a 90Q like the Ferris', but for what I'm planing it'd be a bit to nose heavy
Thinking of a 6a 2L 16v or maybe a 1.8T (tho that's a bit beond my budget at the mo lol)
With a fully rebuilt relitivly std exterior

I hope I find one, it's not like me to make my mind up about what i want

Here's an early 1.8 8v one:

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk...00930338518406

If you're thinking about an 1.8t engine swap then try to find a 16v to begin with as the battery and ABS are tucked out of the way, although the 16v will fit in the 8v bay. The 8v has lower gearing so will be better for acceleration

I have a 16v 6a engine with a leaky headgasket in a B4 that's going for scrap in a few weeks if you want one, you'll have to take the whole car away though.

There is one for sale at a garage in Penkridge Staffordshire. The garage is near to a Ford dealer and next door to a chinese takeaway. Hope this helps.

Only 5 minutes up the road from me, and that's next to where my dentist is, and I've got an appointment Thursday!

I went to have a sniff around that today! 118k, paint looks tired, messy around the rear spoiler area, drivers side doors have lots of scratches, and there's an area on the bonnet which looks like it's had a different shade blown in.
Nice car but for that price it would have to be a mint low mileage example.
