is it correct that the same rubber seal would fit from a ur quattro? and my winder only puts the roof up and down, do they not slide backwards????

The plastic strips under the headlights are best bought on eBay or from someone on here! It's doubtful they still make them to be honest (I may be wrong!). The sunroof should tilt up and down and be removable (two pins either side that you pull when roof is up). Sunroof slides into rack in the boot! Unless of course you have an aftermarket sunroof?

thanks for the info, its a factory sunroof, i just always presumed when a company would go to the bother of a winder it would slide back aswell, surely a pop up would have been easier?

It is not rubber, and it is not actually a seal.

It is a sort of felt/flocking finish, and it is not actually designed to keep the water out.

Audi does them for £50-odd - well they did in Oct 08 when I bought one.
