Default What's my car worth!?

Just curious as to how much my 86 CQ is worth in peoples eyes here, as I see an 85 2.0 coupe GT in auto going for £1,500 at the moment!

My car's got 160,000 and in the last 3 months has had the following replaced:
Front/Rear Discs
Front/Rear pads
Custom made stainless steel exhaust
New tyres on 17" alloys (original 14" ronals available)
Welding to sort out door sill for MOT
New MOT
Recent full service

Plenty of pics on my profile

The lacquer is peeling on the bonnet and ideally it could do with a respray but looks fine as it is.

Just to reiterate it's NOT currently for sale! Just a curious notion!

not really. Just what I would pay.
What you spend on a car is not what it is worth.

Discs and pads is just "service" items, which wear out.
Full service is what it should have done every 10000 miles or so.

Does it have service history?

if you said you wanted £50000 for it, and I agreed to pay £50000, then it would be worth £50000.

If you wanted £5, and I paid £5, then it would be worth £5.

What answer do you want?

Buying and selling these cars is not like going to Cargiant where there are loads to choose from......

No need for the sarcasm. I'm well aware of the difference between value and worth.

I simply asked what people thought it would be worth. You gave your opinion. I wanted to see if you gave a serious response or not. NOw I know you have that's all I needed from you.

its like my 100 type 43 its only worth about £500 if i am lucky because its a bit rare i am going to spend at least £1500 on it .but its only worth £650 when finished but to me it would be priceless .a car is only as mutch as the person willing to pay for it .

it wasn't sarcasm, just a genuine response.

Sorry for any offence, none meant.

OK, what do you reckon it is worth?

more like 1200 plus, cq's have a bit of a following, lots of lads with Urs have em as they can thrash the nuts of em without fear of breaking them as much as a Ur. it depends how shitty the welding on the sill is and how visible,i've seen a few go for more than this too but its a buyers market
