Default Audi Coupe GT 1984
Vehicle Model : GT Coupe
Price : £250
Location : Cornwall
On Ebay : Ebay Link

Spotted on the bay of Piggies. Apparently it's one of the best condition GT's for it's age. Err ...I beg to differ!!

Also listed as a GT5S although it clearly lacks a carburrettor!! Could have had an engine transplant perhaps or is simply wrongly listed

And of course there is the obligatory reference to Ashes to Ashes but bless it was ironic

Anyway may be a good little resto project but i'd be reluctant to buy it for more than the current bid.

Thats the same colour mine used to be. Not inari silver iirc i cant remember what it was or the code but thats deffo it.

Hardly the best condition either but still good for a resto.

Maybe i should start an old Audi resto business?

The 1994cc (JS) and 2144cc (KE) Coupe GT's were both badged as 5E's in the UK, but the 2144cc (KE) came with more options, including front fog lamps.

The 2144cc (KE) cars came with the gear change indicator/vacuum gauge. The 1994cc (JS) cars had water temperature in place of.

Thats an interesting titbit Simmo.

My old GT was a WN carbed job as stock and came with that gearchange "arrow" indicator also...little yellow led as i recall.
Also in that Topaz green. Whats that paint code? I did know it but over the years its kinda faded from my memory.... like lots of things.

Is far as I know, the 'E' stands for Einspritzung.
