Exclamation Audi Coupe GT5S For Sale
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : Audi Coupe GT5S
Price : £1200
Location : Maidstone Kent
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook)

1981, approx 130kMiles, Mars Red / Black check cloth £1200
I have owned this car from 1983 until 1990 and then again from 1993 to date.
I have the full history since 1983 (all receipts, MOTs etc.)
The car is totally original and genuinely immaculate. No major work has been carried out because none has been required. The radiator was renewed a few years ago and all the brake pipes were changed. The interior is the best I have ever seen. Much of the cloth has been renewed (with the original material) and the body is solid with only a couple of very minor rust spots. The bodywork has never been damaged and all the mechanicals are original.
It is currently on a SORN and has no MOT but this should be no major problem.
Some spares included - seats, complete brand new (not recon) cylinder head and various other bits and bobs.
I know it's what everybody claims but you will not find another one like this. It is completely genuine and original. If interested I can e-mail photos.
If I can't get a sensible amount for it my only alternative is to scrap it for £2k under the goverment's crazy scheme and that would really be a tragedy (don't know if I could bring myself to do it but I won't have anywhere to keep it!)

Extra Info:
Yes it is a quad light
Yes it is a carb engine (hence 5S)
It's an 82 model (badged 5S on bootlid rather than C)
I'll sort out some photos over the next couple of days
BTW is it possible to post photos here? If so how?

Added this 04/05/09
I thought I had a deal on this car but the buyer had to back out.
I really do want it to go to the right person.
I would emphasise that this car, though not perfect, is completely original and unmolested. I've owned it from 1983-1990 and then again from 1993 to date. The body has never been damaged and it's never required any significant mechanical repair work. I've reduced the price to £1200 so if anyone is interested please contact me and I will send you more info.

not another quad! getting common now!

Would love to see pics of it. If it's a 1981 model, it's going to be one of the earliest RHD quad lamps around.

The big question is.... is it a 'W'...... or an 'X'.....

The 'W' plate was oh so rare... Watched a black (Blackberry Metallic) 'W' plate go into the scrappies crusher in Newhaven in 1993...

Dreadful waste now....
